Paonia Players, directed by Merrily Talbott, will present a celebration of Michael Jackson, The King of Pop, at the Paradise Theatre in Paonia, April 26-28.
With a cast of over 60 young performers, including the Paonia High School Swing Choir and Paonia Players’ Superstars, Rock Stars, Pop Stars and Twinkle Stars, the performance will also include original music videos and a Name That Tune game for the audience. Half of the numbers will be interpretations of beloved Jackson 5 songs, with the other half coming from Michael Jackson’s hits from the 80′s and 90′s.
Friday and Saturday night’s shows begin at 7 pm. Sunday’s matinee starts at 2 pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for kids under 12. Young children sitting on a parent’s lap get in free.
Tickets are available at KVNF and online at www.brownpapertickets.com. Last year’s Beatles revue sold out all three shows, so people are encouraged to buy their tickets early.
